The Devilz Rejectz

The Devilz Rejectz are five piece band that are glasgow based. They are brought together by destiny, they spawned from the demise of the members previous bands. Each member has a very personal and different influence that they bring to the band and the music that they make. Marky the singer in the band (who was previously the drummer) has been around music all his life and has played drums from a young age. He also played in a variety of bands since the age of 12. He then became the singer which he fell into very naturally due to being the main song writer and artist for the band. He has a wide variety of influences which include Kid Rock, Motley Crue, Jackyl and the Who. Moore the drummer in the band has been playing since he was 14, at the time it was just a hobby but now it is his choice of proffession, starting from a 5 piece kit to now playing a 17 piece kit, which allows him to play many varying styles and unnatural patterns. Moore joined the band due to finally finding members with similar goals and the desire to succeed in life. His influences are Thomas Lang, Virgil Donati, Marco Minnemann, George Kollias and Tim Yeung. Stu the lead guitaists interest in guitar playing started around the age of 14. Having grown of the 1980s heavy metal scene. Stu decided to join the Rejectz because he saw in others the same thirst for success and the same desire to play music where each song is a blank canvas. Stu's influences are Paul Gilbert, Buddy Guy, Richie Kotzen, Yngwie Malmsteen, Jason Becker and Stevie Vai. Jambo who has not been a permanent member of the band for long has always been been involved in the band from the beginning, helping out by standing in on the guitar and the bass when the band needed the help. He is now a full member and extremely committed to the band, having been playing guitar from being at school then chose bass guitar as a second instrument he is extemely talented on both, but guitar is his main instrument of choice. His influences are RadioHead, Mogwai, Minus the Bear and Metallica. Conner the bass player in the band has played the guitar from a young age changed to playing the bass which he has he been playing now for 5 years. Conner has been showing interest in the band for the past year but due to there being a full line up already he wasnt able to join. Then due to the original bass player not being able to commit Conner offered his services and was then asked if he would like to become a permanent member, which he jumped at the chance, his influences are Gojira, gong, tool, ISIS old Biffy Clyro

They have just supported the highly acclaimed tribute band Guns 2 Roses in November, which they had amazing reviews from the public and Guns 2 Roses.

Due to the variety of influences of the band members and the amazing talent that they all have they are growing from strength to strength and have an amazing future ahead of them.
