The Diamond Stretch

The Diamond Stretch started out as just an idea in January 2007. The idea was for Nick and Andrew to have some fun and make some weird music as a side project to Nick's band. Shortly after recording some rough songs the recruited Greg Clow, who was also in another band and joined as a side project. They wrote and jammed about 8 or 9 songs until July 2007 when they added Pogo on bass and Jake as a 2nd vocalist. in Nov 2009 Pogo left the band and friend Sean Hermann was added on bass. The lineup was complete and the chemistry between these 5 different musician was amazing. They all had different musical influences but all had the same idea to make something different and to blindside everyone in the local hardcore scene with something they've never heard before. The shows are intense and these 5 guys put everything into their performances, often leaving crowds both confused and like they've just had knives slammed in their ears. Hardcore kids hate us, scene kids are confused by us, but people with an open mind and who truly want something different in these times on an originality dryspell love us. and thats the way it should be. We plan to release a 12 song LP in the summer of 2009
