Lyrics

Halfway from No Where

Written By: Don Ortiz-Dina Preston Ortiz-Bill Shostak-Ron Barry

V1: There I was singing on the street
In front of Ripley's Believe it or Not
Catching quarters in my old guitar case
Waiting for that dollar of luck
I left the wharf for the cannery
Where the stage was nice and warm
I may be halfway from nowhere
But I'm halfway home
CH: Halfway from nowhere
is better than no where at all
Halfway from nowhere
Baby I can hear the call
V2: I turned my wheels south on Highway 1
to a sunnier shore
I got a band and an Econoline Van
Yeah and I hit the road
it's been twenty years of Rock N Roll
Yeah and I won't give it up
I may be half where from nowhere
But I'm halfway home
Chorus 2xs out
lead 16 bars
chorus (fade)

So Blue

Written By: Don Ortiz-Dina Preston-Ortiz

Verse: If you knew
What I knew,
If you saw
....from my eyes
You'd know why I'm so blue
Verse: If you could hear
All that I hear,
Steady sounds
ring in my ears
You'd know why I'm so blue
Chorus: As I try to get back on track
Away from the flashbacks
Images, they come and go
Like I'm on a fast track
It feels like an endless war that I can't combat
And that why I'm so blue
.......So Blue
Bridge: I can't remember the past
Troubled memories aren't clear
My wounds are not visible
But you can see it in my tears
They hurt all the same
and for so many years
I can't fight the feelings that keep me so blue
Lead
Chorus: As I try to get back on track
Away from the flashbacks
Images, they come and go
Like I'm on a fast track
It feels like an endless war that I can't combat
And that why I'm so blue
.......So Blue

Field of Blue

Written By: Don Ortiz-Dina Preston-Ortiz-Mark Peotter

I saw you smile & it touched my soul
Your tucked away in a hidden world
You are the stars in the "Field of Blue"

V2: An American band going places with you
from Desert Storm 1 to Desert Storm 2
Bosnian field Ops
Afghanistan crews
Your are the stars in the "Field of Blue"

We bring you music no matter where you are
Fuel the fire to keep the show on the road
We come together to Rock your Soul

United we stand
We sing for freedom in foreign lands
Trust & integrity for which it stands
Your are the STARS
In the "Field of Blue"
(Lead)
Chorus 2xs (Out)

Boys from Casa Hogar

White sandy beaches, in the Sea of Cortez
lost in thought, to understand what’s best
Striving for affection, and self-respect
We need care boys for like these

On the blue-green water, the sun is sooo bright
gentle smiles, morale is high
Our sons have dreams, and a future in sight
And we need care boys for like these

Chorus
Many have come
before this moment
Many will come
After today
All brothers,
The boys from Casa Hogar
true treasures in this world

Bridge
So Let's not put up, let's break down these walls
Lets educate and elevate one and allllllll

Where is She

Supported by unconditional love

Where is she, trying to change the world
Where is she, providing inspiration
Where is she, in the land of he
