Bio

The Dirty Delinquents are a five piece, female fronted Electro Pop band hailing from different parts of the country.
Described as 'The love child of Paramore and Soft Toy Emergency', the band are living up to expectations by capturing the attention from many in the industry.
The bands musical influences are a mix of old and new, with 80s influences such as OMD and Depeche Mode and modern day influences such including Lady Gaga, Bloc Party and ex local band Soft Toy Emergency.
The line up consists of Switch (vocals) who is Liverpool One's offical busker is originally from Wales but is now a Liverpool Resident, Meg (synths and backing vocals) from Chester, Paul (guitar) is from Ellesmere Port, Hannah(bass) is from Childwall and Matt (drums) is too from Wales but is now living in Saltney.
The bands was put together in early 2010 when Meg, was sick of the typical metal scene associated in Chester and wanted to introduce a twist to 80s synth pop. The band mainly play their own material, but like to include a mystery cover in their set.
The band started gigging in April 'drummerless' using just a drum track with their first gig supporting Ramona at the 02.
Since then the band have played a number of slots including support for The Pipettes at the 02, Mojo, Liverpool 02 Headline, Slide Festival, In From the Cold Festival and Bad Format!
The band released their first ep 'Information Overload' at the end of September, with track including 'Long Way Down' which was described as a 'hit single' by Danny Woodward, Producer of Whitewood Studios.
