Bio

Formed and based in Sheffield, The Dirty Fingers are an exciting live act playing music from arguably the most productive period in rock music history.....1966-76.
Lead singer and guitarist Paul Moroney delivers a powerful blues and soul vocal in the style of Steve Marriott/Rod Stewart/Chris Farlowe while playing guitar slow and sexy or loud and hard in the vein of his heroes Pete Townshend, Paul Weller and Jimmy Page.
Backed by a stunning band which includes Joel White (ex Pulp and Finley Quaye) on Hammond Organ and piano. Joel also sings in a deep blues soul style with a hint of Georgie Fame/Steve Winwood and has traded solos on Jools Holland's Show with Mr Winwood.
On bass guitar Is Colin Sutton, a remarkable musician with an eclectic and accomplished live background in bands with styles as diverse as jazz, blues, extreme metal and hip hop. Colin also has a Masters degree in music and has been the bass guitar tutor on the Pop Music degree course at Leeds College of Music since 2004.
Mike Lyons is the newest and last member to join the band. He has enjoyed success with signed bands and is a first class drummer in the style of Kenny Jones/Mitch Mitchell/Keith Moon.
The band's set is delivered in an exciting manner with a quirky mod pop art...60s/70s style.
The band are available for venues, private functions, festivals and corporate events worldwide.
Former clients include Victoria and David Beckham and Liam Gallagher.
Please note that the set list is only an example of what the band can do and they have a catalogue of over 200 songs.
