"Song Premiere: The Dirty Jacks ‘Kill The Lights’"

Progressive Maryland rockers The Dirty Jacks have been hugging the grindstone at work on the follow-up to 2011's critically acclaimed debut Rufus. Today they return with a dynamic new single, "Kill The Lights," from their upcoming EP All Part of The Plan, premiering exclusively on CraveOnline.

Fans of Cold War Kids and Modest Mouse should find a happy home in the new offering, which The Dirty Jacks describe as a song about teen angst and the roller coaster of emotions you feel when finding love. As fun and exhilarating as the journey can be, it inevitably comes to an end - a night of passion can quickly fade away as the sun rises. The song builds to a colossal intensity before pulling back once more like a tide, into a percussion-framed reflection with call-and-response vocals leading up to a multilayered melodic kaleidoscope. - CraveOnline
