I am a proud San Carlos resident, local business owner and entertainment chair for San Carlos Hometown Days. For the past two years, “The Distractions” have highlighted the Saturday evening stage at Burton Park, headlining with their non-stop, high energy performances. Each year they played for three hours straight, and each year they played such great music, that everyone in the audience was dancing all night. Their incredible diversity in music makes them a crowd favorite. Close to two thousand people rocked to “The Distractions” in the two years that they have headlined “Hometown Days”. Feedback from the San Carlos locals was extremely positive and I believe they would make a great addition to your Summer Concert series line-up. I have been attending the park concerts since they began and think “The Distractions” would draw a big crowd for you as they did for San Carlos Hometown Days.

Bio
The Distraction having been performing around the Bay Area for over 8 years. When audiences see “The Distractions” they feel the power of a great rock and roll band. Known as one of the most diverse and versatile bands in the region, “The Distractions” play music from the last five decades, including today’s new class of music. It is that variety and diversity of music that makes us a crowd favorite and the reason that we are asked to return to play clubs, summer concerts, festivals, fundraisers and events over and over again. We have played at many summer concerts over the years, such as: Belmont Summer Concert Series,, Los Gatos Fiesta de Artes, Los Altos Summer Concert Series, San Carlos Summer Concert Series, San Carlos Hometown Days and the Menlo Park Summer Concert Series.
