Biography

Its not often these days that you can say that a band has come up with a completely fresh and unique sound. The Distressors have done exactly that. Lead singer, Rae who stems from a Classical background and a talented mult-instrumentalist in her own right, has been writing with producers MJ Cole and Matt Schwartz in the studio for the past two years. The result is something very special indeed. Her vocals fuse the eccentricity of Gwen Stefani, the attitude of Blondie, the sensitivity of Kate Bush as well as the sheer rawness of Chrissy Hinde. The production power behind her draws upon influences from dance thru pop to rock and speaks with an identity of its own. The Distressors are ticking all the boxes , fine songwriting, edgy production and a live show which is leaving audiences stunned and begging for more. With the first album now complete they are looking to spread the word and introduce themselves to the rest of the world. The Distressors are here, and hearing is believing.

Lyrics

Hello

Written By: R. Waldon

I'm alone in the field, I can't believe this is real, I'm waiting for your contact.
Too many radio waves, confuse the words that you say, I'm waiting for you to react

I begin to lose my transmission to you.

Hello, can you har me, hear me calling
Hello, Can you hear me, hear me on your audio

Under the shower of fire, your voice is all I desire, I'm screaming for your dead air
And then a voice whispers through, that sounds a little like you, but like the life is just not there

I begin to lose my transmission to you

Hello, can you hear me , hear me calling
Hello, can you hear me, hear me on your audio
Hello, can you hear me, can you hear me calling
Hello, Hello, can you hear me, hear me on the radio.

What is going on?
Why can't I get through

I begin to lose all transmission to you

Hello, Can you hear me , Can you hear em calling
Hello, can you hear me, hear me on your audio
Hello, can you hear me , hear me calling
Hello hello, can you hear me, hear me on the radio
