Bio

The 4 school pals from Toulouse in south west France have now played most of France’s top
festivals and have gigged alongside Franz Ferdinand, Babyshambles, Stereophonics,
Siouxsie (on the 1st floor of the Eiffel Tower….) to mention but a few. They have headlined
more than a 100 gigs around France, including 2 packed out performances in Paris.

The band’s debut album (CD, vinyl, digital) was released in France, Belgium and Switzerland
in October 2009, and made it into the Top 50 general sales on iTunes. The album stayed
for 3 weeks in the Top 10 on iTunes Alernative Chart and Top 10 in the FNAC
Record Stores. The French press has been unanimous in their praise for the The Dodoz,
comparing them to the best of British indie rock. The album received the thumbs up from
France’s top culture/music magazine Les Inrockuptibles whose “sticker of approval”
appeared on the CD.

The first single “Do You Like Boys?” reached n°1 on France’s leading national rock
station « Le Mouv » and the band’s indie videos have all been home paged by You Tube
and Dailymotion.

The Dodoz’ myspace page has rocketed to over 1.1 million plays
www.myspace.com/thedodoz
and they have 11,000 fans on their facebook page

The second album “Forever I Can Purr” has been recorded and produced by Peter
Murray and mixed by Mike Crossey (Artic Monkeys, Foals, Razorlight, Kooks). The album
will be released in France, Belgium and Switzerland before the summer, and a digital EP
including the first single “Happy Soldier” will be released end of October.

The band are signed by Scottish exile in France Peter Murray to his Murrayfield Music,
Management & Production Company.

Twins Adrien (drums) and Jules (guitar) with Vincent (guitar) and charismatic
Géraldine on lead vocals & bass, have been described in the press as
“…..youth in it’s purest form….”
