"Harper's BAZAAR: Download a Stellar Fashion Week Playlist Courtesy of Mia Moretti and Caitlin Moe Read more: Fashion Week Playlist - Fashion DJs"

The days of DJs as hired help are long gone, now chic music mavens appear on tip sheets the day of a party and style blogs afterwards. Two ladies in the zeitgeist are Mia Moretti and Caitlin Moe — who have Fashion Week gigs planned for the likes of Calvin Klein and Prabal Guring. In honor of the coming fashion madness, the pair created a stellar track list that reflects just what the style set is in the mood for now — whether they know it yet or not. "We've seen a lot of our favorite bands and genres have a resurgence this season," Moretti explains. "Just like fashion, everyone knows trends always circle back around, that's why we never let our mom throw out her old clothes, it's bound to come back in style. Well, we haven't thrown out our old CDs either, especially our '90s favorites like Garbage, Fiona Apple, Martha Wash and Whitney Houston. This mix pays homage to some of those old classics, and the influence they've had on our new favorites, like Robyn and the Scissor Sisters." "NY Post: Wonder of it all: $1M for Eve"

Add Stevie Wonder to the list of stars rumored to be getting big bucks to perform New Year’s Eve. Sources say the R&B legend will bag $1 million to play the Cosmopolitan Las Vegas on Dec. 31, as the resort celebrates its first year in business. But Wonder’s big-ticket payday looks like a bargain compared to last year when the Cosmopolitan shelled out a reported $1 million each for Coldplay and Jay-Z to play. The casino hotel spent up to $25 million for its New Year’s Eve opening weekend bash overall. Mayer Hawthorne, DJ Mia Moretti and Caitlin Moe are also slated to perform at the Cosmopolitan this weekend. - NY Post

Bio

There once was a little girl from California. She loved to play music for people and make them all have fun and dance. One day, she packed up all of her records and moved all the way across the country to the big city. Each night the little girl would work very late, and then as the sun was rising she would wander around her new neighborhood making her way home. The little girl loved to play music, but the lonely concrete streets made her sad. She missed her home where she'd often played barefoot in the sunshine. On one of her early morning adventures, she encountered another little girl, who was carrying a strangely shaped box. Inside the box there was a magical violin, which she took out and played. It made the most beautiful music the other little girl had ever heard. Suddenly, the music from the magical violin made the girls both so very happy and took away all their sorrow. From that morning on, they decided that they would never be apart. Hooked together for life, the girls resolved to travel the world making music, sliding down rainbows, riding ponies and taking away sadness from all the other lonely girls and boys out there.
