real hip-hop brought through The Don using a unique and different sound and a completely different look

Biography

Doni "The Don" Goffstein was born in NY, NY on October 8, 1992. He grew up in a small suburb of Teaneck, NJ. When he was seven his parents got a divorce because his father was apparently abusing his children. His father then moved to St. Louis by himself. It was shortly after after that time when The Don started writing rhymes. When he was twelve, inspired by Eminem and his coping with all that was going around in his home, The Don was rapping his own original songs. He was frustrated by the amount of rejection he received by labels because he was white. He then started writing about his frustration, in order to connect with those going through the same struggle. Many of his songs target the mainstream hip-hop audience of suburban, white teenagers going through similar issues that The Don went through. The Don believes his music is different and unique and will inspire many by giving hip-hop a new look. By the age of 15, The Don had worked with companies such as Championstyle Productions, Ruby Records, YoungChazer Productions, Buy Freedom Productions, MOODS Productions and Sonfillipo Entertainment.

Whiteboy Sound

Whiteboy Sound

Verse 1
Life like Kanye
Looks like eminem
Flow like 50 cent
Beats like Timbaland
Everybody talking about where the hell I came from
Saying I stil will kill just like Akon
Well I’m back and I’m one of the great ones
So if you a soulja get into your station
around 2004
I was sittin at home
Watching mtv
And what do I see
Eminem rapping to a dr. dre beat
I knew right then that was about get gs
Cuz if em can do it why can’t i
I’m a white boy too but I ain’t got a nine
So I got me a gun
And I was poppin off son
I saw the violence within the community
So if I say gun I’ma have Teaneck sewin me
And lower my sales is that the worse you can do to me
But I’m white and jewish so its affecting me brutally
And I take it all back cuz I was acting foolishly
Getting all offended well I say kool it b
So don’t buy my record its nothing new to me!

Chorus
Everybody hating you got chill out
Saying I left well baby I’m still around
Get on stage and I’m gonna kill crowds
Got that thang got that new ill sound
Everybody asking have you heard that new sound
If you said no then baby you do now
They was asking is it that Jew sound
Nah man it’s whiteboy sound x3

Verse 2
He’s a whiteboy so where the hell’s his struggle son
Everybody talking asking where the hell I’m coming from
you don’t even know there ain’t no way to sum it up
In a song or two
Man whats wrong with you
Have you seen my bruises
have you seen my scars
Have you seen my dad
Nah cuz he’s behind bars
So don’t even talk like you know my struggle
Life’s going by fast and its all been suttle
Don’t know bout tommorow so I sing for the moment
Now I’m on top the rap game like baby I own it
You had the spotlight but baby I stole it
I was ashamed of my skin but now I promote it
But now I see how the game goes
Its obvious to me You get what you pay for
Didn’t want me in now you sayin I can’t go
Well I’m on top now man you see how the chain goes!!!!

Why I Do This

Written By: The Don

Why I Do This

Verse 1
I came in they’re like oh not another one
Last weapon this kid had was a water gun
stop hatin you don’t know where I’m coming from
Next dude call me a whiteboy I’ma suckapunch
Listen up Do I make myself clear
That’s whats up I didn’t wanna be feared
But all I got
Is this one shot
And I gotta prove to myself I will pop
They want me to cave but I will not
Cuz I could fall down or climb up to the top
I just gotta take a second and try to relax
And I cannot care what I’m seen as
Call me a white boy Call me a jewboy
Call me a little kid call me a cute boy
Or respect my name and call me the don
Or whatever respect I once had is gone
I came in they’re like oh not another one
Last weapon this kid had was a water gun
stop hatin you don’t know where I’m coming from
Next dude call me a whiteboy I’ma suckapunch!

Chorus
If I say something I’ma do it
Its all for me that I gotta prove it
People hatin cuz I’m white and Jewish
Those are the people for why I do this
I made it here now I can say I knew it
People put me down then say I’m ruthless
I’m the king the head of my Unit
So keep on hatin this is my music!

Verse 2
Man I brought back that whiteboy sound
Gangstas heard it said might go down
In hip-hop history
God they’re pissed at me
I can’t describe how much they’re sick of me
A lil whiteboy coming up in the rap game
Same dudes that told that it was a black thang
And I can’t do it cuz I don’t know the culture
Just give up now and become a mortgage broker
You’ll never be a rapper if your keeping kosher
If you don’t understand I’ll explain when your older
Well I got older so explain it now
Your full of crap you just hate this sound
The sound of a whiteboy doin it big
The sound of a whiteboy who knew how to spit
The sound of a whiteboy who knew he’d get rich
The sound of a whiteboy screwin your chick!!

Verse 3
The rejection was getting me I didn’t wanna rap
The anger was coming out and they said just relax
Walking in my house angry as anything
And I see my brother he’s got something to say to me
He wants me to go outside and play catch
I took the basketball and threw it at his ass
And he picked it up and threw it at my face and
Then said he was sorry but I should’ve embraced him
But I was just sick of my teachers being racist
And cracking jokes about Paul Wall’s braces
And fine I realize I don’t live in the ghetto
But don’t put me down and tell me to let go
Cuz If I had listened where the hell would get dough
Like 2pac said while he was death row
Reality is wrong dreams are real
I’m the Don and this is how I feel!

I Am Lejend

Written By: The Don

I Am Lejend

Chorus
So now I’m on my own
So I’m going down this road
To a place that I call home
To a place that I call home
Understand how it goes
I’m going down this road
To a place that I call home
To a place that I call home!

Verse 1
First of all understand why you’re here
Then I promise you’ll have no more fears
Everybody use to tell me don’t go near
Anything stronger or hold your tears
Now I understand why they were telling me this
Cuz they rlly love me but they were getting me pissed
And now I understand right from wrong
Cuz everyone I once loved is gone
So tell me G-d why I’m all alone
And when I die I will fall alone
You keep me alive but why though
I’m ready to die am I a psycho
And once I get to heaven I’m home
But I can’t get in I’ll use the side door
I’m haunted by my past so fight ghosts
I wish they loved me but they died so
The roads are empty I still drive slow
Cuz They seem to be dead but I know
Someone out there is still alive
Someone out there will give me life!

Verse 2
I look around and I’m all alone
Where’s everyone? I’m the last to rome
The face of the earth that I call home
But this aint home so where to go
I’m coming out cuz I’m tired of hiding
They want me scared but I’ll try fighting
Don’t be scared when I die fighting
Cuz I promise you I’ll die fighting
You all got your last laugh
But I was right so that’s that
If only you were here to be intact
If only you were here to see me laugh
I apologize now I didn’t want you gone
I didn’t realize then that words were strong
I didn’t realize the power that G-d gave me
I don’t want this power G-d save me
I look around and I’m all alone
Where’s everyone? I’m the last to rome
The face of the earth that I call home
But this aint home so where to go!

EC Ressurection

Verse 1
This is it boys the east is back
The Don is on it and he heats the track
Do it cuz I love it don’t need the stacks
When I try I complete my tasks
I’m bringing it back like Tru-N-Livin
Look at me now I’m true and livin
There’s meaning in my rhymes like there’s food in my kitchen
I Come prepared cuz I knew I’d be spittin
Come prepared if you on a mission
I’m talking to you so you gonna listen
Listen to me now I wear the crown
I’m the king you gonna bow down
To me you see I got to be
Number or I am not to breathe
And if it turns out I am not to see
The rest of my life then I have got to cheat
In the game of life that toys with me
Listen I’m a just a whiteboy to me
Or you can be like me and disagree
And say that I’m a legend soon to be!!!

Chorus
If the east is gone then hip-hop is dead
But I’m bringing back homie go tell your friends
Tell them we’re coming they need to pack
Tell them we’re coming the east is back
And the east don’t have no time to play
Don’t count on me leavin cuz I’m to stay
The east is coming through so please make way
The east is here and and we make greats!

Verse 2
Talk about your chains and all your money
You can sell mills but I don’t want it
Sure your sales are high but they will plummet
Cuz the East is back and we eastcoast frontin
So what the hell you doin have you learnt nothing
Get out of our way cuz the east is comin
I said get out of our way cuz the east is comin
Get out of our way cuz the east is comin
And we ain’t leanin our shoulders or snappin our fingers
We hip-hop not a bunch of pop singers
We hip-hop not a bunch of pop figures
Cuz the east shines bright and it does not flicker
I rep the east so I get respect
Or I’ll mess you up like crystal meth
Ain’t no more beef go and get the west
And tell them that together we the best
And I love the world but I own the east
Ain’t nobody else got the dopest beats
He’s playin his cards and I know he cheats
But we play fair and there are no defeats!

Here 4 A While

Written By: The Don

Here For A While

Chorus
You gonna like me cuz I’m here for a while
You gonna like my flow you gonna like my style
And those that don’t like it must be senile
SO keep on hatin man cuz I’m getting piles!!

Verse 1
You gotta love it my flows outta control
I spit from the heart directly out of my soul
I will bet you you ain’t doubting my flow
Cuz I will get you and you ain’t asking fo more
So let me tell how it goes in the real world
Once you get a girl some dope and you feel her
And I’m fighting the patriots like the steelers
So you asking for more just like a dealer
And I ain’t playing no more fun and games
Things have changed and ain’t nothing the same
I’ve seen a lot of things like guys wanting some brain
From me like I’d get down and sucking they thing
And I ain’t gotta prove myself to you
Cuz I’m a whiteboy or cuz I’m a jew
Let me show you what I’m into
To be a legend like Pac Amaru!

Verse 2
Everybodys got a lot to say
Tellin me I’ll get shot today
I don’t care cuz I’m not afraid
Of anything trying to stop my way
This is how life goes for me
Ya take me off the shelf like groceries
So ain’t nobody sales coming close to these
I just gotta say screw popolice
What happened to your Benz I stole the keys
Ya’ll test me like a doctor when he poke my knees
Ya’ll addicted to me like coke and weed
When I sing to you like doe rae me
I came in and theyre like oh not another one
This kids white I know he ain’t comin up
So I ate those dudes like they were butternut
I’m lethal like donda west’s tummytuck!

My Hip-Hop

Written By: The Don

My Hip Hop

They know how we get down
They come from miles around
To see who we be
The Don & Sunny
To see who we are
We are superstars!

Verse 1
They know who I am
Know who I be
But they don’t know me
They know my name
Cuz I’m in the game
See I didn’t come to start no beef
But if I have to you will see bodies lying in the street
See you never met DG Killah you met the Don
You want to see him come and get some
I said I don’t want none
Then they say bring it on
So hell with the Don
I’ll bring out the killah mayne
Nothin but water flowin through my vains
Cuz look at it what happened to the game
It’s gone it changed
To rap you have to be in a gang
Big and Pac are dead and rap is taking all the blame
And I ain’t pointing fingers but you should be ashamed
Guns and violence
Drugs now silence
Most Wanted the ultimate alliance
Listen to how I am rhyming
And nah I ain’t no gangsta giant
But I didn’t leave Afeni Shakur crying
So screw rap
You can have it back
But ya’ll gonna say the don is frontin
But ya’ll stopped comparing me to malibus most wanted!

Chorus
Rap died so shed a tear
But I brought it over here
But ya’ll better have some fear
It’s a dangerous hip hop carreer
But don’t you front on me
Cuz I’ll have you in an iv
And front again my brother
I’ll have you 6 feet under
Rap died so shed a tear
But I brought it over here
But ya’ll better have some fear
It’s a dangerous hip hop carreer

Verse 2
There was a time
When you could rhyme
And u would think nobody would die
And now rap is constant blac on black crime
But is it all worth it to shine
For 5 minutes at a time
Coming from a hard knock life
Where you used to deal a dime
Now I drop a beat spit a rhyme
Well you can’t get the fame and fortune
Without going through the pain and torture
Now you talk about women like they mean nothing
Well its much more complex
Then just having sex
You talk about women like they’re just objects
Like they’re just food food and alotta sex
So you go to the islands where all the women be
Where they got nothing to lose except the virginity
SO you can keep on hatin
I ain’t promoting discrimination
I hate it let gay men be gay men
Let Straight men be straight me
But stop the violence and all the rapin
It’s like the world has been possessed by satan
See Marshal Mathers
Started a trend of white rappers
Now everybody has got the whole game backwards
See I listen to the dude who I thinks got talent
But now people listen to the dude who skin color’s imbalanced
So maybe I have no talent
But they tell me they haven’t had it
And they tell me hit the showers
Cuz they love it when I say and now ya’ll bout to witness the power!

Chorus
Rap died so shed a tear
But I brought it over here
But ya’ll better have some fear
It’s a dangerous hip hop carreer
Tell me you’re racist
Well I hate it
I’ll give you a face lift
ANd leave your face twist
Rap died so shed a tear
But I brought it over here
But ya’ll better have some fear
It’s a dangerous hip hop carreer

Verse 3
Hip Hop was dead man
But I’m the ressurection
I’m the hip hop legend
And the pop music hittman
But rock is sick man
So I’ma let it stay
But if ya’ll don’t behave
I’ma have to pave the way
For me the king
To sing
Once again
About hip hop being dead
I won’t say no names
But all ya’ll do is snort cocaine
So they grab some pot
Cuz they rap allot
It’s a good lesson
Cuz in this game there’s allotta depression
Cuz everyone wants to be a legend
But once you’ve climbed to the top
You see a nice view
You look across the world and there’s nothing left to do
So I’m ready to come down
Anytime now
Cuz you can’t stay up there forever
Cuz eventually there will be bad weather
So come down and put on your hood sweater
Everybody calls me the whiteboy tryin to be black
Well your just a dope boy tryin to sell crack
But nobody wants from you that’s how I feel
Story of my life is
Somewhat notorious
Starts messed up and ends up glorious
And when does the story end?
When I get about forty kids
Who believe what im saying who speak my language
Who can relate to me even if they don’t end up famous
Cuz if I did what Pac did you know I’d be a legend
But where would I end up in hell or in heaven?

They know how we get down
They come from miles around
To see who we be
The Don & Sunny
To see who we are
We are superstars!

Parental Discretion is Advised

Written By: The Don

Parental Discretion is Advised

Chorus x4
They say that hip hop died
So this is how the media replies
They simply say that Parental Discretion is advised

Verse 1
Give it some parental discretion
Tryin to keep little kids close to heaven
And keep them away from the hell that a rap cd brings
Telling us we can only rap about positive things
Well I don’t care I will sing how I wanna sing
I will rebel they will make me the king
I don’t need no tattoos or no bling bling
I will rap and give you the fing-a
Media don’t like it I don’t care I’m a rapper not a singa
This ain’t music this is hip-hop
And I’ll tell your kids that bloods and crips pop
Cuz guess what kids there are guns there are violence
There are gangs there are killers there are biosts
So you know what I do I sit and laugh
Just watching the upper middle class
Saying every crime should be blamed on rap
Well I got my fame from rap
I’ve been across the game and back
And there are killers are criminals are dudes that use to deal crack
But you can’t base on fact
That all crime should be blamed on rap
But is because it’s an industry runned by blacks
So screw the media ya’ll can kiss my black ass!

Verse 2
See the problem is
You’re waiting for the apocolypse
So I say don’t stop to piss
I got da shit
Just pop the clipse
Mop da whip
Who the hell you think killed Pac & Big
But that is
So ridiculous
This fiction
Kids in
America don’t know about the real world
There’s wars and crime
White boys that rhyme
And nobody like the white boys no more
I remember back then 7 years and 4 score
Eminem, Vanilla Ice, Paul Wall and the Beastie boys
And you treat these boys right
But you treat me like some kind of loser wigger that just wants a fight
Well you’re probably right
Cuz it’s Most Wanted vs the media
They tell me to slow it down so I speed it up
I edit my page on wikipedia
And I write you suck mr. media
I hate that lil sticker on corner of every rap album
It’s like a blessing but it’s like a curse and they get sold out of em
If you a rapper and you ain’t got one I doubt that you’ll go platinum
But Most Wanted don’t need one and we’ll still sell well
Just turn on your TV what do you see
Drugs, violence and rape and don’t blame it on me
This is your generation it ain’t mine
This ain’t about rappers or my rhymes
I ain’t showing little kids me poppin a nine
This is what the media has done they have disquised
Rappers as the bad guys
To cover up for their own flaws
Come on catch me breaking the law!

Verse 3
Hip-Hop Hip is dead x4
But I stay far
from the graveyard
Cuz I’m scared of the monsters and zombies that make the game hard
Tell me to slow it down I will rap quicker
Ain’t got one of those parental advisory stickers
But I will have one on the next one
So the parents see me as a threat to they son
But they never found me with possession of a gun
So don’t tell me that my lyrics make the crime rate go up
you know what I ain’t the one that you should be scared of
Ya’ll covering up my lyrics ain’t dangerous
Get out the game quick
Before the media do damage to your head
Hip-Hop Hip- Hop is dead x4!
