"T in the Park Review '07"

"Treated like returning heroes by an adorning crowd, they deliverd a powerful performance. It was hard to work out who was having more fun, The Draymin or their fans" - Sunday Herald - Scotland

"News of the World Dec '06"

"One of the bands to look out for in 2007" - News of the World newspaper

"News of the World (2) Dec '06"

"Fife indie outfit THE DRAYMIN made their London debut befor a star studded audience last week. Sadie Frost and her Primrose Hill set saw them support Louis XIV at Kilburn's Luminaire. A source said "They played their socks off." - News of the World newspaper

"Daily Record Review - Rick Fulton Jan '07"

"The Draymin have much in common with Kasabian.
The music they play also takes the blueprint of Oasis, The Verve and The Stone Roses - anthemic choruses, swirling synths and uplifting lyrics with a rock swagger.
The Draymin planned their world domination in an old hut in Rosyth, Fife, and Rise Up states their manifesto: "We're gonna rise up/we're gonna rip it up/we're going to take control/we're never giving up now". Like The View's big brothers, they've got more to shout about than getting high.
They have been invited to play SXSW in Texas and can be seen at home at The Yard, Rosyth, on February 4 and PJ Molloy's, Dunfermline, on April 1. RICK FULTON - Daily Record newspaper

Bio

The Draymin started out in Rosyth, Fife, Scotland.

We bought an old garage that was put up for sale, we dismantled it, then rebuilt and soundproofed it, and now that's where the time is spent coming up with the tunes, THE HUT was born!!

We take inspiration from bands such as The Verve, The Stone Roses and BRMC to name but a few.

We have recently played 'T in the Park 2007' which was amazing, one of the best gigs we've done!

To date, our career milestones would be being invited to play SXSW Festival 2007 in Austin, Texas, we had the time of our lives out there!!

In October '06 we were given the chance to record a 3-track demo at EMI Publishing studios in London, this was a great experience for us and gave us a taste that we definitely want more of.

Bands we have supported are:
The Skids @ The Glen Pavilion, Dunfermline,
Louis XIV @ The Luminaire, London,
The Enemy @ King Tut's, Glasgow,
The Bluetones @ Velocity, Dunfermline,
The Paddingtons @ The Beat Club, Glasgow and The Doghouse, Dundee,
The Complete Stone Roses @ Fat Sams, Dundee,
The Courteeners @ Moshulu, Aberdeen
plus we have a few on the way, check out the gig listings.

We have gigged at such venues as, The Liquid Room and Cabaret Voltaire in Edinburgh, King Tut's, The Arches and The Barrowlands 2 in Glasgow, London's Death Disco club night and The Cavern, Liverpool to name but a few and have a few radio sessions coming soon, check the gig listings.

We've recently been tipped by the 'News of the World' Sunday newspaper as one of the bands to watch out for this year once again, as well as countless others throughout the music and media industries, don' believe all you hear though, come doon and see for yourselves!!!!
