Bio
Johnny Pacia's music hails from some joint frozen in the time ---when rock ruled and lyrics were key, where meetings took place on hardwood floors over bourbon and tobacco.
Pacia swings a guitar like it's a ride he can beg to go faster, faster, and he's training his ear on a sound that first came to him on old records he savored as a kid, in between pissing off teachers and freaking out friends.
The band that backs him is just as fierce. The D Train Riders don't play tunes, they drive them: bassist Lachlan is an exiled Scotsman and an expert rocker, and drummer Dave Register brings his penchant for funk.
Their debut album, 'Perique', is a careening rock and roll memoir of a man born to be a songwriter -- played with a country affliction and a bluesy sense of humor. Faster, faster.
