Bella Bella (n): Beautiful Beautiful
Bella Bella began in San Jose, California when bass player, Fabian Juarez and lead singer, Sayo Ogundiran of the burgeoning rock band, The Dystrict, linked up with, pianist and guitarist, Steve Murr to help co-produce and engineer The Dystrict's first full-length album.
As the project and The Dystrict began to hit rough patches, Steve introduced Sayo to a few of his songs which he thought would be a match for Sayo's vocals. The mix of hard hitting guitars, hip-hop-dance beats, and groove-ridden keys and bass lines had Sayo at the jump. The duo immediately asked Fabian and newly found drummer and San Jose native, Dave Magill, to join the project.
In anticipation of recording their first EP, the band decided to thicken up their sound and invited new California native/Jersey expatriate and guitarist/violinist, Alen Cileli, to join the band.
Bella Bella has recently begun working on their first album, and continues to perform and spread their music throughout California and beyond.
