The Earth Republic

The Earth Republic, a recently formed rock outfit has emerged from Sydney’s famous Eastern Beaches and like the vibrant lifestyle which attracts thousands to Australia’s shores, The Earth Republic’s range of music emulates the contrast and perpetual change of its birth place.

The four-part fusion of The Earth Republic consists of Adam and Stuart, two main vocalists who exchange not only the role of front man, but are both lead and rhythm guitarists respectively. From a visual sense they are the bookends of the band, twin towers of entertainment constantly directing attention left and right, each having his own distinct characteristics and yet mastering the art of blending them together seamlessly in harmony.

The engine room driving the bands hypnotic beats and percussive eruptions consists of Justin on drums and Bryden on bass. The energy used to maintain the velocity of songs such as “Vain” and “Ready To Go” is of abundance. Not only can they feed excess energy back to the grid, but they also possess the tenacity to encompass the erotic funk grooves of the track “stop” and the soft rock theatrics of anthems like “Before She Cried” and “Breakin It Again”.

With the first E.P completed and available online, the band is furiously working on their second release in 2010.
