The Earth String Band

The Earth String Band is a group for the new world, mashing their roots in Bluegrass with contemporary acoustic music. Combining years of shared musical experiences, The Earth Stringband grew from the ground up; in their young age, they’ve already shared most of their musical lives together, immersing themselves deeply in Old Time Appalachian music, Bluegrass, Gospel, and the Blues. Guitarist Stash Wyslouch and Bassist Sam Grisman throw down the backbone of earthy groove, achieving synergy with the soulful songwriting and mandolin playing of Eric Robertson and Andy Reiner’s fiery, improvisational fiddle. The Earth Stringband’s Old Time Bluegrass Soul is characterized by their pulsing grooves and melodious hooks – a unique and infective vibe that that will take the listener for the musical journey of their life.
