Bio

The Eighth Colour released their second EP “Look Beyond What You See” in 2005 which Time Off magazine claimed was “one of the best independent releases to come out of Brisbane”.

2006 saw the band work with world surfing giant QUIKSILVER, and the four track EP "Beginning Again" (available now on Itunes ) was released worldwide.

Three of the bands tracks also appear on the 2006 Kelly Slater surfing DVD, Letting Go, which is the highest selling surfing dvd in the world...ever ! In October 06, as part of their east coast Oz tour, the band grabbed the coveted houseband spot on Channel Ten’s ROVE LIVE, performing on live national television to an audience of over one million, and to top off a huge year, supported rising stars Evermore.

2007 saw TEC's music appear in countless media outlets including Surfing Magazine dvd add-ons, extreme sport highlight packages and finished with the band being handpicked by aussie pop sensations THE VERONICAS to open the final show of their Australian HOOK ME UP TOUR to an audience of 6000.

Work has begun on the next installment of The Eighth Colour catalogue. The EP will be completed in the UK late 2008 and released to the world early 2009 !
