Bio

Joseph Garcia (a.k.a) "JoeyG." [NOspace], experimental hip hop artist, visionary, is practically from nowhere. Born in Lawrence, Massachusetts, down to Orlando, Florida at 7 years old, and up to Brooklyn, New York at 13 years old, JoeyG. has done a lot of moving around (apparently). With Brooklyn taking his heart, and Orlando still his 2nd home, JoeyG. is on a mission, to go from being unknown and unheard, to recognized and listened to all over the world.

JoeyG. has spent so many hours in different home studios, between his basement, his producers "FrankeL" and "Reid Arnstein"'s home set ups, and other home booths he has put together a ton of material.

JoeyG.'s most recent release is entitled "SevenS", a collaborative 7-track EP with the infamous producer Ryan "FrankeL", a project that was done in a 24 hour time period. Less than a month before that he released a project with long time brother and producer "The Bra!nchild" entitled "The Robert Horry EP". The two of them are a duo formed in 2005 called The Humanauts.

JoeyG. is currently working on his next project with Reid Arnstein entitled "H.A.F", and also the RAMC collective "Watch The Watchers". There are 2 music videos on YouTube for "H.A.F" entitled "MmHmm" and "Pick It Up and Dump It", both with over 1,000 views each (weakly).

JoeyG. has performed at many venues/lounges in the NYC area including The Public Assembly, Karma Lounge, Club Pyramid, U.C. Lounge, just to name a few.

JoeyG. started writing at the age of 12, finding a love for old school Hip Hop and being inspired by great MC's including Nas, Rakim, Biggie, Eminem, and spent a lot of time working on his craft. With the passing of his sister when he was 15, he felt that music was all he had to help him get through his grief.

Throughout the years JoeyG. has been developing a versatile and experimental sound of his own, finding his way alone, and looking to break through into the music industry.
