Bio

Growing up and living in the Mississippi Delta has given this band a unique perspective and sound. A band of story tellers best describes these musicians, their ever evolving "Delta Swamp Boogie" pays homage to their blues roots with a jam band sound. The combination of lyrics and sound telling a series of tales about life.
The band has grown and changed since the beginning in 2000 when they started playing in local Jukes. The newest member does not hail from the great Delta.
Reaching out for a pianist and keyboard player they found classic pianist Zach Leach in Starkville,Mississippi. Their sound is uniquely influenced by the music of each of their childhoods, where they grew up, and their parents' record collections. Each member chose their instrument while in elementary school. Their ages range from 21 to 31.
When asked why they are musicians and want to continue this path as a career each member will tell his story and they are all the same. They hear the music and it must play. This band is popular with the BB King Museum in Indianola, MS. Band members have played there with blues classics such as King Edward and Blind Mississippi Morris. They are also a frequent act at BB King's Club Ebony, also located in Indianola. They are popular additions to five regional blues festivals each year.
