Well into its third incarnation of the band, The Elixir Act has finally found a proper balance by stripping every aspect of the band down to the simplest form. Including the number of members, and even the involvement of standard instruments in songs.
Fueled by the song writing of its primary member, Dan Graham, The Elixir Act has become a collective group of friends coming together and putting their own touch to the songs. Weather it be the beautiful back up vocals of singer Krysti, or the hauntingly smooth strings of cellist/violinist Norah or the solid rhythm of drummer/percussionist Adam. All these people add their own amazing aspect to the simplistic song writing.
With a new 6 song EP titled Pills and Alcohol The Elixir Act is ready to get out there and play an album that they are collectively more proud of then any of their past musical experiences.
