Biography

Emaline Delapaix is an Aussie singer songwriter who lives between rural Western Canada and the hidden forests of Germany with her big orange cat Reece. She spends a lot of time writing odd folk pop for piano, acoustic guitar and harp and sometimes whatever else she has lying about the place. Some say she sounds a little like Kate Bush or Tori Amos, but she also loves a lot of Scandinavian music: music that invokes the weather like storms and warm sunsets.

A live performance with Emaline & The Emboldened Wanderlust incorporates strings, hammers and guitars with bold female energy, ambient soundscapes, intricate rhythms and Emaline's unusual and stunning voice. Her stories are clever and funny, surprising and intense, challenging the audience to open their hearts and let down their guard, to relate and connect. To travel by song...
