Bio
-The Enthusiastics are a four-piece band from Franklin, Massachusetts, just south of Boston. The band took form in late 2007, initiated by drummer Nick Colace and guitarist/vocalist Andrew Barry. Kevin Dwyer came on to lay down the bass, and for a few years, they were a trio. Just recently, long-time friend Ryan McNeice was brought on to add another layer of guitar work and backing vocals for a deeper sound.
-After a 5 song E.P. in 2008, The Enthusiastics put out their first full-length, self-titled album in Summer 2009. Their second album "For You To See" will be released in November 2010 and plan on starting work on the third album this coming winter.
-The meat and bones of The Enthusiastics' sound is derived from rock, mainly the surf, classic and alternative veins. Each member brings a different influence to the table, some of which include: Sonic Youth, Dick Dale, Cream, The Beatles, Pavement, Ween, and Pink Floyd. Additionally, there are fragments of metal, punk, progressive and grunge that punctuate this distinct style for a familiar, yet unique high-quality listening experience.
