Bio

Founded in 2014 by ex-Sybreed, Djizoes and 7-Tone members, The Erkonauts are one of the most dynamic and hardworking Rock / Metal bands out of Switzerland today. Playing a high octane style of their very own, striving to pack kick-ass modern power, execution and production with subtle vintage tones and a musical taste that encompasses genres as diverse as Progressive Metal, Fusion, Rock, Thrash Metal, Crossover Metal, Punk, Power Metal, Alternative Metal and whatnot.

The Erkonauts released their debut full-length, “I Did Something Bad”, mid-2014. The album was soon followed by the “All the Girls Should Die” single. The first two (DIY) editions of the album got sold-out in no time while the band was embarking on a world tour that drove them from Europe to USA, Taiwan, China, Japan and Europe again.

The re-release of "I Did Something Bad" on Kaotoxin Records on 2016 got much attention from the press, earning the #5 spot on one of MetalSucks.Net "Top 15 of 2016", the top spot of Hard Force (FR) Weekly Charts, part of "Best of 2016 in Metal" on Napster.com and many more.
