Bio

The Ettes from NYC invaded the LA rock scene in 2004 drawing inspiration from the White Stripes, the Rolling Stones and the Ramones.

Jem on bass with his garage rock roots, paired with Poni’s powerful punk rock beats, fused with Coco’s guitar hooks and 60’s country vocals creates The Ettes’ unique sound that fans describe as beat-punk.

The Ettes have been stunning audiences with their electric live performances all over the USA, Canada, UK, Spain, France, Germany, Holland, Sweden and Switzerland. Touring relentlessly The Ettes have performed with The New York Dolls, the Gossip, The Go-Go’s and The Black Keys.

The Ettes recorded their debut at London’s Toe Rag Studios with producer Liam Watson (The White Stripes, Kills). The Ettes released their debut album, Shake The Dust, on Sympathy For The Record Industry in 2006.

In 2007 The Ettes returned to London and Toe Rag to record their second all-analogue album, Look At Life Again Soon.

The Ettes just wrapped up a 5 week European tour in May/June 2008. Performances include headlining London’s Death Disco, festival dates and a sold-out UK/European tour with The Black Keys.

The Ettes’ new album Look At Life Again Soon will be released on 9 Sept in the US on Take Root Records and in Spain by 2Fer Records.
