Bio

“If you went skydiving with Stevie Wonder, then landed in Jimi Hendrix's front yard on Mars and took a sip of Prince's lemonade... you still have yet to fully experience all that is Evan Palmer!”

Ask yourself a question; if music were a person, what would it look like? What would it be into? Would it be a man, woman?

Well, Music and fate conspired to bring together two people and distill talent in its purest form.

Evan Palmer is a rare talent. A musical renaissance man in the truest form. Though he is still relatively new in the industry, he has already performed across the country and has written for and produced artists worldwide. Hailing from the Inland Empire of southern California, singer/songwriter/producer Evan Palmer may come from a musical background, but it took him awhile to get involved. Although his mother sang lead in his dad’s band, Evan didn’t start making music until the age of 20. As he penned hits for artists such as Cee-Lo Green, Keyshia Cole, Raekwon the Chef, Kylie Williams, 40 Glocc, Corey Mekell, Fingazz, The Avila Bros., Marcus Moody, Josh Tatum, it didn’t take long to figure out that the music gene runs in the family. Evan later became one third of a group known as the Student Body Presidents and in just a short time, his creativeness & natural musical ability gave him the opportunity to perform at places such as The Hard Rock hotel in Las Vegas, the world famous Sunset Strip, House of Blues, SWAT Spring Break (Lake Havasu), and multiple performances on the Vans Warped Tour.
Now having branched off to form his own project, Evan prepares to release his debut EP “Grey Matter”. It boasts a sound that is described as a combination of vintage rock, infused with soul, with a modern twist. Influenced by what he calls his “Mt. Rushmore of Music”, (Stevie Wonder, Prince, Jimi Hendrix, and Kanye West) among others, Evan hopes to inspire people to be themselves.
