Formed in May 2000 by Taylor & Ledbetter. The band went into record an ep w/producer Ted Comerford & Mitch Easter. The result was the "Stranger than Fiction" ep that was mixed by Mitch Easter (REM,Ben Folds).

The record was released by Hero Records in January, 2001.

The band has gained regional & national attention from their disc & energy live due to the antics of frontman Taylor.

Major labels have begun to make their way to Evoka while the band continues to play showcases and events.

The band recently hooked up with the LA based Leopold Managent Firm. Currently the band is having new demos mixed by Lou Giordano (Sunny Day, Goo Goo Dolls) and will begin shopping and showcasing for majors in early spring.
