The Executivez

Playa-E & RIO started out this journey as two individual artists on two separate paths. After years of working with each other on various performances & mix-tape projects, the two decided to tag team the music industry with their different styles of music. With a barrage of mind boggling lyrics and hypnotizing hooks, the two took flight launching hit after hit. Their drive for music led them to performing in several venues as well as providing entertainment for various military installation events. Storming their way up the coast to Los Angeles California and soon to hit the Bay Area, the Executivez hope to place San Diego, California in the archives along with other cities that house major artists! In 2004 they officially established Royal Empire Records based out of San Diego, Ca where they have been able to fully utilize every opportunity that has presented itself. Forming the group so aptly named “The Executivez” R.I.O and Playa-E have performed in many MC contests and venues throughout the San Diego and Los Angeles area, and are planning to drop their debut album "Business As Usual" in 2006. Royal Empire Records is devoted to making the difference in music by providing the public with and library full of MCs’, vocalist, and producers to captivate the mind, body and soul of music lovers across the globe.
