Rich and Ryland's prior side-project, Timmy's Last Try has a full length EP entitled "West Coast Envy" that will be co-promoted alongside with The Exit Lights. The Songs "Valentine's Day" and "Silent Film Star" have had streaming and college radio play.

One day you wake up and you realize that you forgot to live your life. And the countless nine-to-fives, shopping routines, and hollow “e-lives” in which we regularly immerse ourselves suddenly don’t mean a thing. This is the point (an existential moment perhaps) when you quit that job, throw on your favorite pair of jeans, grab your guitar, and dive into a ’95 purple conversion van to tour the US with four of your best friends and like-minded, talented musicians. This is The Exit Lights –an escape plan designed for the average life.
The Exit Lights, like most reputable indie groups, aim to respectfully honor their greatest influences while molding their own sound. You will hear subtle hints of various elements pooled from the rock timeline; sweltering lead riffs and guitar solos, for example, that Slash would approve of -to modern, melodic themes reminiscent of Mae or Brand New. The recent incorporation of a Synthesizer player will further TEL’s sonic boundaries into new realms, making the release of the debut EP, “& the Miles Between” even more anticipated.
