The band - The Fallen came together because 4 friends decided that it would be awesome to share their love for music.
Matthew Logan -
I am the lead guitarist and one of the backup singers for the band The Fallen. I first started playing the guitar after I was inspired by a band called Bullet For My Valentine and 3 years later I still love playing the guitar. I am inspired by artist such as Bullet For My Valentine, Escape The Fate, Asking Alexandria, Slash, Zakk Wylde, A Day To Remember and Led Zeppelin. I really enjoy playing in the band and I have high hopes and dreams for us.
Andrew McArthur -
I first started drumming almost 3 years back when my friend let me hop on his dads drum kit. From then on i fell in love with the idea of becoming a drummer. I got my first drum kit about a year and a half ago and learnt off a simple beginner drum kit. I then moved on and bought a new drum kit from my drum teacher at school. Just about everything i know on drums is self taught although i learnt how to keep time and control from Rima Barlow so he deserves credit for any achievements I have now. I joined the band about 2 and a bit years ago and have never looked back. We have done so many gigs from playing at youth groups to fundraising for Christchurch’s earthquake epidemic. Being in a band is amazing and I would not have it any other way. Nothing is better than having a mean band practice on a Sunday avo and creating new music.
Tom Elders -
Bass & Singer - From Batley in England, moved over to Tauranga about 5 years ago. I started playing bass guitar when I heard my mates playing guitar and drums together and they used to complain about needing a bassist, so I decided to learn, and from then on I have been loving every moment of it.
