The Farewell Drive

Jin Desabelle, Chris Majors, Kavon Noorizadeh, Michael Willard, and Sheila Ludeke – together they are The Farewell Drive. Driven by punk rock to rock n roll; hardcore to metal; late nights and long hours, and their music proves it. Featured at clubs such as Rocksteady, The Door and Curtain Club in Dallas, TX, they reign from the confined spaces of unsound-proofed walls and sub par equipment; making music with inspiration, creativity, hangovers and soul. The Farewell Drive classifies themselves as post-hardcore rock and expects nothing less. They are inspired by such bands as Taking Back Sunday, Bayside, Thursday, Greenday, Silverstein, Thrice, and even a little Red Hot Chili Peppers. But what’s a classification anyway? Michael’s a hard worker out of the five, always willing to throw back a few and get down to business, not to mention he’s got vocals that will blow a crowd right out of their mosh pit. Jin’s ridiculously good at just about everything he does, while Sheila can play bass better than any other chic you know. Chris makes his impressions with guitar riffs and sex appeal. And last, but not least, Kavon, on drums, unleashes the power within this melodic, hardcore band. They plan on emerging from the precincts of a small apartment to the hearts of thousands off of first impressions, songs such as Little Miss Perfect, and this proletarian biography.
