For 4 decades now The Fat City Band has been dedicated to the proposition that "Music Should Be Fun".
Over the years and several versions of the band we have always delivered a fun show filled with our own music, a blend of Blues, Jazz, Jump/Swing, R&B;, Funk, Rock, and Gumbo all rolled into one.
Our show will get your feet moving and entertain you with clever, humorous lyrics, powerful arrangements, and stunning musicianship that will keep you engaged all night long.
The Fat City Band has shared the stage with such industry giants as B.B. King, Ray Charles, & James Brown. We've recorded with Allan Toussaint, and Tom Hambridge to name a few and have graced the national TV stage on "The David Brenner Show".
Now with our 6th full length CD, "Done Deal" on the market, The Fat City Band is bigger, stronger and better than ever.
