"The Fates: Drama Dropout EP Review"

hey! so “The Fates” are a really cool band fronted by beau cassidy (ever heard of david cassidy? yeah, his son!). they’ve got a rock/pop vibe, and distinctly remind me of HelloGoodbye fused with the Rocket Summer, but a lot cleaner, and not as sickeningly pop-y/happy. they say they’re out to save pop/rock – and i have to say, i think they can do it. so it’s obvious that they have been getting attention from some awesome labels recently after touring around the country and even in europe (las vegas, london, atlantic city). they recently released an EP called “drama dropout”, which has all your favorite pop guitar sounds and some awesome rock drumming.

check out their website for some samples, and their twitter for cool updates. and watch their video for “Miss America”, a single from their EP! - Chinupmusic
