Country rock from Minneapolis, for fans of Willie, Merle, Gram and Townes. They only let us go wrong out of kindness, we suppose.

400 Miles Away

Written By: Ben Miller

Well I don't know why
You'd leave me here to cry
Left to spend all my days all alone
Yeah, on my own

I can't talk to you
Like you know that I used to
And if I said I don't miss you all the time
Well, I'd be lyin'

Now tell me to turn back
‘Cause I'm leavin' today
You can't tell me you don't want me there
Just 400 miles away

If we cross a couple lines
I'll be yours and you'll be mine
We can spend all our days right at home
Not so alone

And if you let me stay all night
I won't scratch and you won't bite
I'm tellin' you, distance goes by fast
And this won't last

Now tell me to turn back
‘Cause I'm leavin' today
You can't tell me you don't want me there
Just 400 miles away

I Don't Wanna Go To Arkansas

Written By: Ben Miller

When I was 23 years old
I spent three days in Arkansas in May
Now with the benefit of hindsight
There's only one thing I gotta say

I don't wanna go to Arkansas again
Too many strip malls and not enough sin
Too many Walmarts and not enough girls
But at least on the radio they still play Willie and Merle

Now I suppose I should be reasonable
I suppose I should be fair
I've found it's much worse in Kentucky where they yell
"Boy, you should cut that hair"

But, I don't wanna go to Arkansas again
Too many strip malls and not enough sin
Too many Walmarts and not enough girls
But at least on the radio they still play Willie and Merle

Well, all the nice people there
That's really the story I should tell
But it's hard to come home with real good stories
When you’re scared to leave your hotel

That's why I don't wanna go to Arkansas again
Too many strip malls and not enough sin
Too many Walmarts and not enough girls
But at least on the radio they still play Willie and Merle
