The Feminists turn it up down in Trickster and try to sell some more of their excellent debut album which was released only last month and which is a hole in your collection, you just haven’t realised yet.

Sam Dale and co play Fusion Festival on Thursday so expect them to be switched on more than usual at Trickster. Berlin’S best gatrage rock band, hands down. Well, until Team Tyson come out of retirement…again.

Sam Dale A singer and guitarrist out of England who’s been playing the streets in Berlin for the past two years, Sam Dale swings between folk and traditional blues. Very recently he’s been absorbed into two awesome local bands, Sticks In The Casino and The Feminists, habitating the space somewhere between prog-rock and trash-something. - blitzgigs.de

The Feminists made a surprise appearance halfway through Sticks In The Casion’s set recently at Zosch, their spirit suddenly overwhelming the Sticks who stripped down to their underwear to reveal their inner feminist and some tasty lingerie and corsetts to boot. And the rest as they say is history.

Who knows, maybe strutting about White Trash restaurant in their smalls will inspire Sam Dale and co to get into their clothes and morph into the Sticks…but something tells me there’ll be more open mouthed gaping than burger eating being done by the crowd. The Feminists release their debut album D.A.R.K. in true down n’ dirty style in Friedrichshain in Rigaer Strasse’s Abstand. They sometimes like to wear dresses live, short, tight dresses mind you…oh yes, it’s an all boys band by the way. Boys in dresses, whoo-hoo. Ladies this is the gig for you this Saturday night.
