Bio
The Fender Benders are an 8-piece band from Bowling Green, KY. They have been in various forms since 1988. The core of this incarnation has been together since 1993. Known mostly as a Motown/Stax style cover band, but have written strong original songs with a Blues/R&B style that they play at all the shows they can.
They have opened shows for B.B. King, Tower of Power and Neil McCoy just to name a few. As well as playing at the Hot August Blues Festival, Duncan Hines Festival, Owensboro BBQ Festival and many, many more.
They have been selected twice by the KY Blues Soceity to repersent KY at the 2006 & 2008 International Blues Challenge on Beale St. in Memphis, TN! The largest gathering of blues bands in the world!
With great vocals and a tight grooving band behind them, they will pull at your heartstrings and then make you get up and dance to their higher energy songs! The shows are always bringing in new friends and fans!
