"From the manager of Prime Time Sports Bar & Grill"

"The Fiends are all about the F-words; they’re fun, a little bit funky, and they fill the house. They are exactly what we were looking for when we started booking bands at Prime Time Sports Bar & Grill. They get the crowd going, whether the crowd wants to or not. As a first-year establishment we’re still developing our clientele, and The Fiends have done a great job reading the crowd and adjusting their set lists to work for that group. They get here on time, set up, play hard for a few hours with a few short breaks, then drag the party somewhere else. In short, they’re the perfect entertainment for Prime Time."

"Testimonial from WHEB DJ"

"The Fiends bring a sense of urgency to their live show, as if it's your last chance to dance and your ass will never forgive you for missing the opportunity to shake it. They channel the best of music, bringing the classic funk style with an air of relevance, infusing elements of rock, hip hop, blues and punk in an unassuming way and bringing it all together to become one unique sound that is The Fiends."

Bio

The Fiends are home. Accessible, unpretentious and fun, the way your favorite mix tape brings together all of the seemingly unrelated sounds that you wrap yourself in to create your own weird little world. That is the appeal of The Fiends, and they are the way they are because they're family, literally. These two sets of brothers bring to the dinner table what any family does; a solid foundation, made up of the moving parts of its diverse members. Each Fiend is post-graduate in a school each their own; the Lesh/Entwistle inspired bassist Jeff Wyman, bluesman guitarist Mark Murphy, Ringo Starr fanatic Jeremy Murphy, and the vocals of old school hip-hop head Andy Howard. Their creative process exists without a process. Their sound is inimitable and unmistakable. Their vibe wants you to erase all of the words you just read and do a damn cannonball, because these are The Fiends, and you are home.
