The Fire Alive

Hailing in from the Otway’s in Victoria, The Fire Alive are set to release their self titled debut EP in February 2012 with numerous shows though out Victoria and the East Coast alike.

2011 was a big year for The Fire Alive both receiving the APRA Award for Song Writing at the Push Start grand final held at PushOver Festival Melbourne, whilst also advancing to the Australasian final of the Global Battle Of The Bands held in Sydney in March of 2012.

For now though all concentration is on the EP and getting it out there for people to hear.
The EP depicts the highs and lows the band has been through over the last year, taking you on a musical journey through the many different styles they individually bring to the table. The result is an eclectic mix of progressive rock and blues with an old school tone that can be enjoyed by young and old alike.
For a debut EP it is a promising sign of musical prowess that would often be expected from experienced, well-tailored acts.

Saying that their reputation lies with their energetic live shows which has seen them captivate audiences wherever they’ve played, pubs to festivals in Melbourne, Sydney, Geelong and the Surf Coast over the last year.
