theFireFight

Hello, we are theFireFight from Buffalo, NY. Actually, we're from different areas of the country, but currently reside in New York. We are a 4-piece rock band with musical influences including punk, pop, hardcore, and alternative rock genres.

BIO:
theFireFight was formed in 2003 on the west coast in Olympia, Washington. Our current set contains some revised versions of our older, original songs, as well as some newly written material.

In 2007 we moved to Buffalo, NY with the hopes of more publicity and a growth of our fan base. Since the move, we've really decided on how we want to sound, and lately we've been moving toward a heavier rock sound.

The remaining members from Washington state are now vocalist Dan Stenberg, guitarist Josh Lowe, and bassist Pat Bailey. After meeting through an online video game in 2008, drummer Adam Newton moved from Michigan to join the current lineup.

theFireFight's only released EP titled "What Remains of Broken Bridges and Burning Hearts" was released in 2007 before the decision to move across the country.

Since the move we've been getting back on our feet and writing some new material. We are very confident in our current lineup. We're looking to tour soon, and to continue playing shows in the Buffalo area and beyond.

The band has gone through many member changes since the beginning, and each person involved has helped to shape the band into what it is today.

Our influences include, but are not limited to the following bands:
UnderOATH, Taking Back Sunday, Emery, Thrice, I Am Ghost, Oh! Sleeper, Haste The Day.
