The Fire Sail

Brothers brought together by chance to make music in a world wrought with digital disasters and economic uncertainty. The Fire Sail began in this year of our lord, 2010 by founding members Tim Linaberry, Wes Martin, and Joel Blasquez. Looking to set fire to their small hometown the band headlined their first show at The Fat Cat music house, a reputable venue and nearly burnt down the place with their raw style. A genre-defying band, the three all bring 10+ years of musical experience to the table and create unique original sounds with every song; none of their tunes sound anything alike. Alternative is the closest genre that characterizes the general direction of the music, but that genre in it-of-itself is vast and hard to describe. Up until now the band has been rocking the local venues with nothing to sell but their good-looks. The first Fire Sail EP began being recorded as of July 22, 2010 by local legend Lucky Lew (known best for giving Grandaddy their original sound).
