"For a band that’s only been around a little more than a year, these guys seem to know exactly what they’re doing."

EC/DC - Gene Padden
The band that once harnessed elements of Maroon 5 and D'Angelo sounds more like Edwin McCain singing for Blessed Union of Souls. - None

Bio

The five percent is set to release their third CD in less than two years. The second release, Our Life (November 2007), has sold nearly 3000 copies. While touring the country in support of the record, the overwhelming response has energized the band to record fourteen new songs.

For this release, Making Some Sense of Today, the band once again teamed up with Grammy-nominated producer Jack Gauthier. The new album features varied ensembles and guest vocals by Pete Francis from Dispatch.

After the May release, the band will hit the road immediately to support this new record playing small towns and big cities across the country.
