Bio
The Five Thieves are Don Gold and Scott Seader. The two met nine years ago sitting next to each other on an airplane. While in separate projects, their two bands shared a bill on the Lower East Side of Manhattan, where producer Dougie Bowne (Iggy Pop, The Lounge Lizards, Cibo Matto, Sean Lennon, Chris Whitley, etc.) was in attendance. Dougie encouraged Don and Scott to start a project together and The Five Thieves was born. After five sublets in Brooklyn and two years of hard work in the studio with Dougie, The Five Thieves LP, "Holy Rolling" is set for release early 2011
