Bio

In 2005, the wide ranging abilities of multi-instrumentalist/front-man Tim Swanson and the rare combination of power and grace incumbent in the playing style of lead guitarist Greg Breidinger merged, forming the perfect confluence of talents necessary to create the unique, high-powered music machine The Flavors have since become.

Although you may see Tim play keyboards, guitar, bass, or even saxophone on any given song, the listener always walks away most impressed with his skills as a front-man and a vocal range that allows the band to cover artists like Johnny Cash, Prince, Elton John and even AC/DC with equal adeptness. Likewise Greg also doubles on bass, as well as a backing vocalist/instrumentalist; however, it’s the sounds coming from his Gold Top Les Paul and Fender Stratocaster that always receives the most attention.

Tim Swanson -- Lead Vocals/Keyboards/Guitars. Tim's background is as diverse as the band's song list. Tim grew up in Kennewick, WA and moved to the Boise area during his college years, earning his Masters Degree in Education. He has been a member of some of Boise's better known musical groups including High Street. His soaring vocals are the centerpiece of The Flavors.

Greg Breidinger -- Lead Guitar/Vocals. Greg's background is as equally multifaceted. As the lead guitar player for the band he also serves double duty backing up Tim's vocals with the intricate harmonies that are the trademark of The Flavors. Greg originally hails from the motor city by way of Los Angeles, where he still serves as the lead guitar player for Valhalla, a Led Zeppelin Tribute band now in it's thirteenth year of existence. Greg is also an accomplished producer and recording engineer, producing all of the bands recordings as well as other national and regional recording artists.

Jeff Webb -- Right before joining The Flavors in 2008, Jeff was drumming in, singing for, and managing the very successful Boise based band, Straight Shooter – even having the opportunity to open for John Michael Montgomery. In addition to a vast musical history that goes back to the mid-1980s, Jeff is the owner of Touch of Health Massage in Nampa, ID.

Rob Faler -- A professional musician since the 1980s, most notably as a recording artist and founder of the critically acclaimed, national label act Redstone, Rob’s history with The Flavors began in 2006 when Tim and Greg joined his band Honeymoon Deluxe to perform at Idaho Governor Butch Otter’s inaugural ball. Rob’s also fronts and writes music for his band Faler, which recently opened for Eddie Money and Jimmy Vaughn.

Steve Flick -- Steve has been playing with The Flavors off and on since 2007. A multi-instrumentalist, he may be on anyone of three saxophones, the flute, the keys, or be singing along at any given time you look toward the stage. With a background in jazz, Steve provides a whole new “flavor” to the band’s sound that helps take it from an average party band to a veritable live jukebox, capable of great music in any style!

Jesse Andrews -- Jesse is the newest addition to The Flavors family. His musical career has extended from coast-to-coast, beginning in 1986 with Suncoast Sound Drum Corp as well as with various classic rock bands in the South Florida region. Whether it’s jazz, reggae (with Boise based Hey Mon), or a Commodores tribute band, the brass lines are always in good hands with Jesse! Jesse has also recently been keeping his chops up with the worship band at the First United Methodist church in Nampa and the Music Theater of Idaho Orchestra.
