The Flinchers

The Flinchers

Good old-fashioned rock and roll with a nod towards '60's blues-based garage rock. Punk, reggae, blues with the courage to stretch and improvise ala Jimi Hendrix and Mitch Mitchell. Funky, swinging, soulful and fun.

3 dorky looking middle-aged guys who will rock your socks off. The Flinchers have been turning heads and raising eyebrows since late 2007 when they formed in San Angelo, TX. Multi-instrumentalist Miles McMillan has been fired from more West Texas bands than you can shake a stick at. He cannot be contained. Similar to Bob Dylan, Miles provides his band with very little information. He never plays the same thing once...Yet, it is always magical and exudes the passion, spirit and spontaneity missing from so much of today's music. The Flinchers are versed in many styles, including 60's style surf/garage, blues, rock, fusion, 70's punk, soul, R&B and lounge.

Respected, feared and envied by the "popular West Texas bands", The Flinchers have a well-thought out plan to fly by the seat of their pants.

Set List

Sets include a mixture of originals and covers, depending on venue and audience. The Flinchers can go all night long and have done everything from straight blues gigs, society functions, and hard rock/punk gigs.
