The Flood Plain is responsible for one year of music.
Country? Certainly--but w/ pop, noise and gusto.
A casual survey reveals they are influenced by The Flaming Lips, The Band, Bob Wills, and O'Rourkian variations.
Ohio is where they live.
Jeannine Hetzler (vox, keys, percussion) and Richard Lucas (vox, keys, guitar & bass) are Columbus natives. Josh (vox, bass, keys, guitar) is from southern Ohio. Matt Zambito (drums, keys, concert bells, percussion) is from Ransomville, NY.
The members of the band have been involved in the Columbus music scene for four years. The Flood Plain is actively gigging throughout Ohio, and is currently recording material for Scioto, their first EP.
The Flood Plain's musical versatility, and experimentation in the studio, has made them an exciting act in Columbus--their shows are religiously attended by local celebrity, Don B.
