The Foreign Army
Hailing from Windsor, Ontario, The Foreign Army has left a mark on the local music scene with their charismatic blend of alternative rock. The group, led by singer-songwriter Nahum Gald, strives to perfect their soaring melodies and unpredictable song structures since their early days under the moniker Hideaway Place.
Their fascinating self-titled EP is a collection of 8 haunting, melancholic tracks that defy genre classifications and push the boundaries while maintaining a common watermark throughout the track list.
Their EP is set to be released in the summer of 2013 but has already been met with some encouraging results, garnering placements on major broadcasting networks such as ABC and the Oprah Winfrey Network as well as a nomination for the Hollywood Music in Media Awards.
From the warmth of the acoustic guitars to the dark, lush pad sounds, the flow of this record brings the music to places you don’t expect.
