Both Devon Hammer and Drew Blankenship grew up around music, Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix, Queen, but they have branched out and grown their tastes since then. Looking up to their Idol Jack White, and learning from him that everything you do is a struggle. If it isn't a struggle, you wont feel as much passion as you would otherwise. They take that outlook, and live by it. They play as often as they can, as long as they can. Without music, these two boys would die. That is most definitely not an exaggeration.
