"The Forever Endeavor"

The Forever Endeavor are a clever bunch of lads whose superbly sweet type of rock features three-part vocal harmonies, a device that helps this group stand out amongst the rest of the pop punk pack. On the three-song sampler, tales of adolescent strife and heartbreak are put to catchy Warped Tour band tunages, procuring this outfit's ascension to be the predecessors to bands like Simple Plan and All-American Rejects.

"The Rookie, Patent Pending, The Forever Endeavor : Ills of the Underground"

There's three bands on this CD, and there's very few generalizations I can make to encompass all three, so I'm going to break it down for you.

Of the three, the Forever Endeavor is the only band I wholeheartedly enjoy, and from which I would want to hear a full-length album. They've got bragging rights to a very unique sense of pop that I can't trace to a single origin. It's sort of like Elvis Costello meets Green Day. Their music is light and accessible with snappy rhythms and a knack for melody they couldn't have swiped from their favorite bands. Even the vocals are great, instantly recognizable, just slightly nasal without ever being annoying. I thought the Forever Endeavor was a leading unsigned prospect before I heard these four songs, but following my encounter with "Timeline Divided" I'm convinced they're number one in the field. This band, in an A-grade studio, would produce something incredible.

Bio

Hailing from Northern New Jersey, The Forever Endeavor are a staple in the Northeastern music scene. Combining untouched and original musicality with an unrivaled work ethic, The Forever Endeavor are destined to be an imminent favorite in many more music scenes to come. The band self-recorded, wrote, engineered, and produced their entire catalogue of releases in their studio/practice space in Paterson, New Jersey. In addition, the band has gone on 5 nationwide tours, again, all self-promoted and booked. With a mailing list exceeding 20,000 names, and rigorous show schedule, these boys have accomplished myriads of feats as an unsigned band.

Forming in October of 2001, TFE has been hard at work since its inception. Comprised of four members who grew up in the local tri-state area underground punk rock scene, the band was immediately instilled with an ethic of community and sincerity. From local dive bars filled with their (sometimes intoxicated) friends and peers to the Vans Warped Tour, TFE manages to deliver their elite brand of punk/rock/esoterica to every venue in which they play. Three years, 0ver 400 shows, and close to 100,000 miles on their 2001 van equals A LOT of venues. The Forever Endeavor are a band and a family. From countless hours in their van together to countless shows in countless states, the bands cohesiveness allows for solid and secure infrastructure. They are the epitome of dedication, fun, and loyalty.

TFE's musical make up could not be better: A band of four experienced and dedicated musicians raised on punk rock. The band has not only played numerous benefits aiding families of 9/11, AIDS awareness, Immunization in Africa, Child Abuse Awareness, Amnesty International, and the Tsunami Effort relief (just to name a few), but TFE also books, arranges, and organizes local shows in the North New Jersey Area. The band is extremely communally minded and their sincerity and dedication transcend merely their music.

Their sound has become a mystery for listeners to completely identify. Such comparisons range from Queens of the Stone Age to the Beach Boys, however, these comparisons fail to capture the bands essence. The bands single "Maria Ave." from their latest EP "Ills of the Underground", has earned them national airplay on numerous college radio stations, CD compilations, and XM Radio. Maria Ave. captures a minor and underground mood, comprised of many facets of the band's musical stylings, including (but not limited to) impeccable melody, minor and major song structuring, featuring both raw and polished, driven rock. Their songs are delicately structured with infectious vocal melody and inventive musicality. As the band writes their first full length, they are experimenting with jazz, jungle drums, and electronica. However, their innate idealism and sincerity will always keep them grounded and true, immune to trends and mediocrity.

The band will be doing multiple nationwide tours in May of 2005 as well as recording their full length.
