At the benefit for M.U. S.I.C. the festivities kicked off with a set by The Forever YoungTour, a Rod Stewart tribute act that's new to the scene. The man filling Rod's shoes absolutely nails the Stewart look and sound. With a band of seasoned players behind him, the room lit up with a rocking rendition of "Maggie May," then switched gears for the wanton ballad "Tonight's The Night." The mini-set closed with the ass-shakin' "Hot Legs" before The Forever Young Tour exited the stage to the cheers of a crowd that was both satisfied and amazed. This band will undoubtedly make it's presence felt on the tribute act landscape.

Rick St James & his band Forever Young put on a great show. The crowd went wild. Creating an atmosphere of a real Rod Stewart concert. Some believed it was Rod himself. I must say Rick and his band were very cooperative and easy to work with.

Rick St James and his Rod Stewart show was absolutely amazing. I hired him for a surprise 50th birthday party for my mother, and it was the best decision I made! Him, along with his musician put on such a great show, that all our guests are still talking about it. The look on my mothers face when "Rod Stewart" entered the room was priceless and something we will never forget. Although it was a small party, with only about 50 people in attendance, it felt like being at a concert. Everyone was up, out of their chairs dancing to his amazing voice and soundtracks. Not only was his performance excellent, Rick was a joy to work with before the show. From emails to phone calls and everything in-between, it went so smoothly. I would highly recommend Rick St.James for any function.
