We play the blues. Not just how it was then, how it will be tomorrow, we repeat the sounds of our fathers, gypsi's, and hippies so that they may remember and give a positive message to start a new revolution of music and thought. Driven by the unworldly guitar and vocals of Nicholas Raburn The Foxfire Experiment takes you on a trip through time and space with there pyhcodelic sound, the driving r and b bass lines of Keoki Wing and soulful jazz drum style of Austen Mack is the perfect mix of blue jazz and rock.
Founded in 2006 The Foxfire Experiment started as a 2 piece acoustic group out of Mesa, Arizona and has slowly changed into the 3 piece as it is today. In 2008 The Foxfire Experiment released it's debut self titled ep as a 5 piece group that lead to having a song featured on the 2008 Alice Coopers taste of Christmas Pudding cd. We are currently in the studio working on a new 3 song demo
Taken from The Foxfire Books written by Eliot Wigginton, The Foxfire Experiment took the ideas of being self suffisent within and out society, whether it be music, education, or living. We are here to start a movement of self awareness and inner peace, because these are the only ways that we can truly be free.
