Bio
The Fuel are a four piece Indie Rock band formed August 2007. Despite their young age they have impressed their audiences with their high energy dynamic live performances. With influences from The Killers, Bloc Party and Foo Fighters, The Fuel now have a sound which is now unmistakeably their own. The Fuel, with a wealth of diverse and imaginative material, are now poised to record their first album. After watching The Fuel play at Bristol's Colston Hall Michael Eavis expressed " the last time a young band made such an impact on me was the first time I saw Oasis live".
Having had showcases for EMI and SONY they are ready to take the musical world by storm. Summer festival slots for Westons live and unsigned and a headlining slot for YOUTH4YOUTH, showed The Fuels ability to play a big stages. After winning a major regional competition, at The Colston Hall, The Fuel were chosen by Michael Eavis himself, to play at Glastonbury Festival 2009, and played the BBC's introducing stage. The Fuel also played main support to Fightstar in Bristol this year.
To enjoy the band at their best, they really must be seen live.
